Sing for Obama

So, our big Sing for Obama Media Event is tomorrow. I know it’s going to be fabulous and I’m sure it’s going to be fun. Now I’m thinking toward the future and how we’re going to promote our video and reach as many people as we can for the challenge to learn the song and create their own community video for YouTube.

I like to dream big, here’s what I’m thinking.

We need to get on Oprah.

She reaches into the American psyche like no other celebrity and she, of course, is a huge Obama supporter. Our story of coordinating this event in less than 2 weeks is compelling but even better is the story of Ariel and our women’s singing circle. Oprah would love it. America would love it. If she invites us to her show we can issue the Sing for Obama YouTube challenge and reach so many people. All of us Obama supporters can effect change, can actually effect the outcome of the election, with this grassroots show of dedication and inspiration. And what a fun way to be involved.

So my question for you is this - can you help us get on Oprah? Does anybody have a connection that will lead her to our story? I have never worked on a project as powerful as this one. Every single thing has fallen in to place, this was meant to be.
